Methodist Minister & Spiritual Director
A grandparent living with my wife in North Cumbria, ordained a permanent Deacon and since 1997 I have been loving and serving God through our rule of life in the Methodist Diaconal Order, a dispersed religious order within the UK Methodist Church.
Leaving university education I followed engineering into the aerospace industry, then commercial vehicles and small business consultancy where I answered my call to be set apart full time in Christian ministry.
I have sought regular Spiritual Direction for myself since 1997. I took St Ignatius Exercises in daily life in 1999 then again on retreat in 2016, after which my training & formation in Spiritual Direction took place at St Beuno’s and practice as Spiritual Director began in 2018 for which I receive regular Spiritual Supervision.
Mountains have filled my heart since childhood drawing me to the heights & depths of their retreat. I have worked as a Mountain Leader with young people and adults in the UK and abroad. My most intimate encounters with our living God have been in the mountains.
